Description

TM00DU34	Sustainable Product Development Project (25 cr)
Prerequisites	Previous studies must have been completed.
Objectives	You are familiar with the different stages of defining, planning and implementing a development project. In practice, you are able to apply the knowledge and the skills you have previously learned. You are able to work as a project member and a project manager for a development project.
Content	The course deepens and develops your personal competence in project activities and professional knowledge and skills. Project-specific contents are defined according to the content of the selected R&D project. Systematic product development process Design of a safe product or machine Directives Legislation

Evaluation Criteria	satisfactory (1-2) You are able to describe the stages of the product development project. You are able to act as a project member of a product development project. You are able to model different 3D-parts and -assemblies and create the technical documentation. You are able to describe the importance of product document management for the company. You know the requirements of a sustainable product development in the project work. good (3-4) You are able to apply your professional skills at different stages of the product development project. You are able to work as a project manager of the product development project. You are able to work in a meeting and apply meeting communication skills in project communication. You are able to implement systematic product development methods in a product development project. You are able to choose suitable tools provided by the CAD system for various design tasks. You are able to take into account the requirements of sustainable product development in project work. excellent (5) You are able to act as both a project member and a project manager of a product development project. In product development tasks, you are able to take into account the quality of the design and the machine safety and manufacturability of the equipment to be designed. You are able to take into account the entire life cycle of the product in product development. You are able to estimate the costs as part of a product development project. You are able to utilize the tools provided by the CAD system and create the necessary simple simulations at different stages of the design tasks. You are able to apply the requirements of sustainable product development in project work.
