| Prerequisites | Previous courses of Degree Programme in Information Technology or equivalent skills. |
| Objectives | After successfully completing the course the student is able to: design the structure of a database using ER-modelling, create a database and make a web-application which uses the database, and carry-out the common database-server administration procedures. |
| Content | Relational databases, database management systems, database design and maintenance, database-server administration, ER-modelling, referential integrity, normalization, SQL-language. Basic of PHP-programming and using PHP to communicate with the database. |
