Objectives | After completing the course the student is able to describe the simulation calculations of the possibilities and limitations of the design of HVAC systems. He/she knows how to use IDA ICE simulation software to calculate the thermal conditions in buildings, indoor air quality and energy consumption. The student can make EXCEL spreadsheets simulation of the HVAC system or parts of the building. |
Content | IDA Indoor Climate and Energy (ICE) simulation program, which takes into account or can be calculated for example. dynamic heat balance, internal and external heat loads, daylight illumination level of comfort indices, as well as zones of air currents. Thermal and flow technical practices, as well as the preparation of EXCEL spreadsheets for simulation. |
