Description

YY00EN97	Finnish Language in Working Life Communication (6 cr)
Prerequisites	YY00EJ20 Suomen kielen suullinen taito (S2) and YY00EJ21 Suomen kielen kirjoitustaito (S2) or equivalent knowledge of Finnish (Proficiency level B1.2)
Objectives	I am able to actively participate in most communication situations in working life as well as in fairly formal discussions. I can use language structures and extensive vocabulary both orally and in writing. I can follow a long-term narrative or understand even extensive text on familiar topics in my own field or working life. The target level is B2 in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Content	Different written and oral communication situations in working life. Telling about oneself and one’s competence and skills. Describing one's work. Finnish working culture.
Recommended optional programme components	If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
