Evaluation Criteria 0-5
Evaluation Criteria satisfactory (1-2)
I know the most important electric quantities (current, voltage, resistance and power) and how they are related (Ohm's and Kirchoff's laws and power law). I identify basic electric components like resistor, capacitor and coil.

I know how current and voltage behave in serial and parallel circuits. I am familiar with the most common measureing devices and know how to operate safely in the laboratory. I can operate as a passive member of a small team to make electrical measurements. I know how to use with assistance a circuit simulator to solve simple circuits.

good (3-4)
I calculate currents and voltages from simple DC and AC circuits. I identify basic components like diode, transistor and operational amplifier and I understand what they are used for. I can build simple circuits using these components. I act actively as a member of a small team to build circuits and to measure their performance. I use circuit simulators fluently and independently. I use the needed equipment with ease and can select suitable components.

excellent (5)
I master a range of electric and electronic applications. I design my own circuits. I calculate circuit properties and run simulations without outside help. I am familiar with laboratory equipment and can use them innovatively. I can select proper components with the help of data sheets.
