Objectives The student evaluates the interactions of the core processies in occupational therapy. The student uses the functional assessment and intervention information from occupational therapy point of view in multidisciplinary student group mapping the information also to the ICF -classification. The student knows the relevant models and research results of occupational science and the meanings for one field occupational therapy as more advanced way, but also for the future of occupational therapy. The student uses the therapeutic reasoning skill in evaluating how to choose the occupational theories for clients.The student evaluates the wide range usage of occupational analysis and adaptation as a tool of occupational therapist. The student knows the core contents of occupational therapist expertise. By evaluating own professional development the student creates the plan for own development of expertise.
Content The mutual effects of the core processes of occupational therapy, working with the skills of an occupational therapy student in a multiprofessional rehabilitation student group, bridging information to the ICF functional ability classification, current perspectives of occupational therapy and research knowledge in the chosen area of occupational therapy in-depth study, the importance of occupational therapy for the development of occupational therapy as a discipline and profession, therapeutic reasoning in the selection of occupational therapy theories, the scope of activity analysis and application and deepening use, core contents of occupational therapy expertise, evaluation of one's own professional development and a plan for developing one's own expertise
