Objectives The student knows the effects of meaningful and purposeful activity on a person's functional participation and balance.
The student participates in various activities, such as everyday activities and activities that I want to do to maintain my well-being, such as activities in the natural environment, creative activities, and playfulness.
The student understands the multidimensional characteristics of the activities and recognizes the different goals related to the activities and the requirements of the therapeutic activity.
The student understands the importance of experientiality in participating in the activity and I understand the processual nature of the activity.
The student actively participates in the planning and implementation of various therapy and guidance methods in the student group.
The student activities in the student group's simulation exercise in the role of an occupational therapist and evaluate their skills in these interaction situations.
The student analyzes and applies client-oriented therapy methods to the occupational therapy of clients of different ages, taking into account different operating environments.
Content Meaningful and appropriate activities in occupational therapy. Different therapeutic methods and environments at different ages. Therapeutic occupation. Planning and making of therapy and counselling methods in the student group.
Therapeutic activities for children and adolescents 2 cr, working-age people 2 cr and in the elderly 1 cr. Creative therapeutic activities 3 cr and nature-assisted therapeutic activities 2 cr.
