IT00ED68 Bachelor's Thesis (12 cr)
Prerequisites Before starting the thesis, the student must have completed at least 120 credits of studies.
Objectives The aim of the Bachelor's thesis is to enhance and demonstrate the ability of students to apply their knowledge and skills in practical expert duties related to their professional studies. (Vararehtorin päätös 13.10.2016 § 16)

I know how to apply the theory in my solutions and use professional working methods. I am capable of an independent and comprehensive problem-solving and a consistent and systematic way of working. I manage the use of information and source materials as well as the presentation of the results of my work in writing, visual and oral.
Content Introduction to the thesis:
- The process of the thesis
- Choice of topic and making applicaton for topic approval, the main responsibility for acquiring the subject lies with the student

Further Information The student should consider the subject of the thesis at the latest at the end of the second year of study. The head of the degree programme approves the topic and assigns a teacher who supervises the work. The supervisor supports the thesis process. The student writes a maturity exam of the completed work.
