IT00BQ36 Practical Training: Professional Training (20 cr)
Prerequisites At least 90 cr completed.
Objectives I can carry out typical work tasks in my field of study in a responsible and independent manner. I can use theoretical knowledge in practical situations and detect possible problems that are typical for my field of work.
Content -Working in a company or organisation in the field of studies.
-Reporting.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.

Further Information The student is responsible for finding a placement in Finland or abroad. The teacher responsible for training supervision must approve the placement and the tasks before the training can start (Training Agreement). It is also possible to complete professional training for example in Lab or in projects.
It is recommended that the student identifies possible thesis topics during the professional training.
