Objectives The student defines key concepts, principles, values, and approaches to well-being and health promotion
The student analyzes national and global health programs.
The student justifies the particular challenges and health equity of promoting the well-being and health of the population in their area and recognize the impacts of digital technology use on health and well-being.
The student recognises the impact of technology on well-being and understand the importance of digital wellbeing.
The student explaines the meaning of the principles of sustainable development and multidisciplinary work for the individuals, families, communities and environment health promotion.
The student discusses concepts, theories, processes, and documentation of health coaching.
The student construes national and international guidelines and regulations related to the prevention and treatment of communicable diseases.
The student identifies the main features of the Finnish vaccination program.
The student can use evidence-based, human-oriented and effective health promotion methods and health technology to promote the well-being of the population.

Execution methods Students will develop their skills by acquiring and using evidence-based knowledge on health promotion and health coaching in collaboration with different partners in working life and higher education.
Materials Current literature, research literature and scientific articles on the subject. The course material will be established at the beginning of the course.
