General Information

Description

AT00EO21	Personally Specified Dance Studies (30 cr)
Prerequisites	If necessary, the student counsellor recommends optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Objectives	Student is able to act in personally specified assignments to deepen the knowledge and skills in the field of dance and teaching.
Content	Studies according to a personal plan for example: - working in production as a dancer or a choreographer. - assisting in production. - artistic working. - teaching dance. - working in culture communities, companies or enterprises.
Recommended optional programme components	If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Accomplishment methods	The study methods and demonstration of competence are agreed upon with the Head of the Degree Programme, tutor teacher or person responsible in project or production.

Evaluation Criteria	pass/fail The student is able to use the basic concepts learned during the studying period. The student recognizes the phenomena related to working. The student completes the given tasks with guidance. The student reflects own competence. The student is able to work in a group and works responsibly in developing competence.

Further Information	The studies are agreed with the Head of the Degree Programme in Dance Teacher Education. Amount of ECTS credits can vary from 3 to 30 and the amount is based on a Learning Agreement.
