Objectives | I act responsibly in the development of body skills. I dance the basic movement material of Ballet style as required by the teaching situation. I dance in relation to the playing music. I will tell you about the core phenomena, teaching culture and methods associated with learning the skills of ballet. Through my own actions, I promote the group's safe learning atmosphere. I assess the development of competence and my development needs and strengths in relation to the operating cultures of Ballet. |
Content | Basics of body interaction, dancing in the community, basic manifestations in the style of ballet, the relationship of dance to music, and the space orientations of dance. Interaction and reflection. Studying the cultures of Ballet. Exploring the pedagogy of Ballet. |
Recommended optional programme components | If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan. |
Accomplishment methods | Contact teaching, learning assignments, demonstration of dance and dance teaching skills at an assessment event in accordance with the instructions of the study module included in the dance teacher education programme in Oamk or demonstration of competence in accordance with a personal study plan. The student proposes a personal method of completion by initiating the HOT procedure in Peppi. The HOT application is addressed to the ballet teacher. |
