AT00EJ06 Teaching Advanced Competence in Spesialization Dance Genre (10 cr)
Prerequisites The following courses must have been successfully completed before enrolling in this course:

Objectives WORKING RESPONSIBLY
I act responsibly in the comprehensive development of my skills and follow the agreed schedules.
I assess the learners' competence development, development needs and strengths.
I use professional terminology that is appropriate to the situation and appropriate from the perspective of the target group.
I interact constructively in a discussion, guidance or teaching situation.
I develop my teaching skills based on the feedback and reflection I receive.

SUBSTANCE COMPETENCE
I demonstrate a genre-specific advanced dance technique, which shows mastery of the special skills of the dance genre and the dance style characteristic of the dance genre in question.

PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCE
I apply knowledge of the special characteristics of the dance genre in my own teaching.
I understand the factors, which affect the objectives, contents and structure of dance lessons at the basic and advanced level of dance education.
I plan, implement and evaluate basic and advanced level dance teaching in a pedagogically justified manner. I set goals that are realised in the teaching situation in the dance teaching of my differentiation sport
I describe the factors influencing the core phenomena of the dance genre, the learning contents and the structure of the dance lesson.
I choose and use rhythmically diverse music suitable for the target group and the culture of the dance genre.
In guidance and teaching situations, I take into account the learners' skill level and learning needs.
