Description


AT00DN64 Dance Event Management (3 cr)
Prerequisites No prerequisites needed. If necessary, the student and the teacher / tutorteacher / stydy councellor agrees programme components based on student's individual study plan.
Objectives I demonstrate my professional competence through learning tasks.
I recognize and describe the work tasks related to the process of organising dance events and the implementation of dance events. I know how to search, evaluate, and use information. I work in various positions in producing a dance event. I cooperate and engage constructively with the people involved in dance event. From the point of view of my own duties, I take responsibility for the progress of the process and carry out my duties within the agreed timeframe. I evaluate the development of competence and my development needs and strengths.
Content Process of organizing dance events. Dance event management (planning, implementation, evaluation and development).
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Accomplishment methods The methods of implementation are specified in the implementation plan. Student is a part of Arctic Steps dance event management team in personally specified assignments. Specific information is in the implementation plan (evaluation, schedule, tasks). Within the course, the student participates in the Arktiset Askeleet (Arctic Steps) dance event in agreed tasks.
Execution methods The primary method of implementation is described in the implementation plan.
