AT00CV99 Dance in School and Pedagogy (3 cr)
Prerequisites If necessary, the student and teacher / tutor teacher/ /guidance counsellor agrees other recommended studies in HOPS discussions.
Objectives I understand dance and art both as an absolute value and a tool for the child's holistic development.
I know the possibilities of dance in the school environment.
I understand what kind of learning preconditions and needs may occur in teaching children.
I analyze suitable music choices for teaching children.
I operate in the constructive interaction in both the teacher's and the learner's role.
I participate in the collecting of common studying material.
I understand dance education as a basis for the implementation of a school dance.
Content The methods of teaching dance. Dance exercises and music are suitable for children. Interaction and learning guidance, evaluation and feedback on children's dance teaching. School dance. Dance and Art education
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Accomplishment methods Active participation in studies. Working constructively in the role of both teacher and learner. Drawing up a curriculumn plan.
