Objectives PART 1. BASIC OF HEALTH PROMOTION 2 ECTS
The student is able to
-explains the importance of the health promotion approach in their oral health promotion work.
- apply health promotion theory in their work
- applies the theory of client orientation in their guidance
- evaluate different health promotion methods and tools
- implement client-oriented health promotion methods such as motivational interviewing, co-design, social media tools.
- use digital materials suitable for self-care guidance
- use didactics in the planning, implementation and evaluation of guidance sessions

Content PART 1. BASIC OF HEALTH PROMOTION 2 ECTS
Basics in didactics. Learning and teaching as a process. Interaction skills: individual and group supervision interactions among clients at different ages. Different teaching and counselling channels. Basic teaching and counselling skills. Planning a teaching sequence; implementation and counselling. Peer assessment. Student counselling.

PART 2. IMPLEMENTION OF PROMOTION 2 ECTS
Putting health promotion theory and client-centred methods into practice. Planning, delivery and peer evaluation of the learning event. Acting as a facilitator in an oral health promotion event.
