Objectives The student identifies and develops her/his professional interaction skills. The student understands group phenomena and knows how to act as a member of a group. The student recognizes the principles of group and individual guidance. The student knows how to interact professionally with clients. The student uses different communication methods when interacting with clients. The student uses various creative and resource-based methods in customer work. The student understands the importance of safe interaction and acts safely in challenging interaction situations with clients.
Content Professional Interaction skills. Dialogic interactions. Different communication methods. Identification of group phenomena and their impact. Key principles of individual and group guidance. Resource-based work with clients. Group and individual exercises related to customer work. Safety training.

Using specific professional concepts, the student will identify the importance of professional interactions with clients. The student will identify group phenomena and give examples of his/her own behaviour as a member of a group.
Students will identify the use of communication techniques in individual and group counselling. Using specific professional concepts, the student will recognise the importance of resourcefulness and give examples of the use of creative and resourceful methods in client work.
The student will recognise the importance of safe interaction and give examples of this.

The student will give examples of the importance of professional interaction, demonstrating familiarity with the knowledge base of the profession. The student will identify group phenomena and give examples of his/her own activities as a member of a group.
The student will recognise the use of communication methods in individual and group counselling. Using the knowledge base, the student will describe the importance of working with resources and give examples of the use of creative and resource-based methods in client work.

The student explains the importance of professional interaction in client work using a wide range of research findings and describes the development of his/her own professional interaction with the help of illustrative examples.
