7T00DE98 Adult Social Councelling (5 cr)
Prerequisites First year studies.
Objectives The student analyzes social phenomena and processes and their relevance to customers' individual life situations.
The student applies systemic as part of adult social guidance.
The student will evaluate and apply key legislation and regulations governing adult social work and recommendations guiding the work.
The student recognizes the importance of welfare knowledge in the development of services.
The student analyzes the expertise of social guidance in multidisciplinary collaborative networks.
Content The importance of current social processes and phenomena in the everyday life of customers. Well-being and quality of life of adults in their living environment - good, smooth everyday life. Social guidance for adults. Systemic approach to work. Social work for adults is regulated by general and specific legislation, as well as programs and recommendations. Well-being information and its production. Multidisciplinary cooperation.

The student will evaluate and apply a broad range of key legislation, regulations and recommendations guiding the work of adult social work. The student will identify and reflect on the importance of well-being information in the development of services, based on a wide range of research findings. Students will analyse and structure expertise in multidisciplinary cooperation networks and be able to justify its importance.
