7T00DE88 Life-span and Life Course in Human Development (5 cr)
Prerequisites No prerequisites.
Objectives The student describes growth, change, education and consistency through the lifespan. The student understands different aspects of human development and how human beings change over the course of their life. The student explains the biopsychosocial model and approach to human development both in micro and macro sense. The student applies the knowledge base and reflective approach of developmental disciplines on her professional development and actions. The student defines critical perspectives on developmental paradigms and knowledge basis.
Content Developmental perspectives in life-span and life course. Dimensions and topics of human development. Stages of psychosocial development. Individual, cultural and social factors and human development. Biopsychosocial model. Education. Professional, reflective and critical approach to human development.
