7T00DC02 Social Work at School (5 cr)
Prerequisites First year studies.
Objectives The student analyzes wellbeing work in child and adolescent developmental environments. The student understands the importance of pupil and student welfare in promoting social well-being, learning and studying. The student analyzes communal and individual student welfare and pedagogical activities in the school community. The student assesses the pupil's and student's and the family's involvement in student welfare. The student understands the importance of developing student welfare in pre-primary, primary and secondary education.
Content School and educational institution as a developmental environment for children and adolescents. School well-being. School as a pedagogical community. Communal student welfare and development of the study community Individual study maintenance and services of a school counselor. Student support needs and social explanation.
