| Prerequisites | TW00CH91 Industrial Electronics and AC Circuits. |
| Objectives | Student is familiar with electrical and physical modules, components and materials used in the manufacture of automation equipment and chemical properties as well as their applications. Student is familiar with different power sources: AC power, battery and battery technology as well as the UPS equipment. Student is familiar with different display technologies, opto-electronic components and their functioning, as well as data transfer. Student knows and is able to take into account environmental conditions in the industry: mechanical strength, heat, moisture, emissions, dust and sources of interference (EMC and ESD). Students are able to make the choice of material, IP-rating and shielding. |
| Content | Variable themed course on the trends of electrical and automation in the field of electronics development , which aims to introduce students to topical themes and practical applications related skills. Thematic laboratory exercises, tasks or simulation. Provides skills for future projects. Electrical and automation products for use in wire, component, card, covering and packaging materials and insulation materials. Insulation materials and physical properties, electrical conductivity, insulation, thermal conductivity and resistance. Electrical and automation technologies chemicals, solder different devices and processes in an industrial environment. Electrical and various power supplies automation technology. Optoelectronics and data transfer. Reliable material and component selection, IP-class and enclosure in various industrial environments. Electrical and automation in the field of electronics thematic laboratory exercises or simulation. |
