Objectives | Student is familiar with the instrumentation used in industry. Student has knowledge of instrumentation construction and telecommunications. Student is able to design, commission, implement and maintain typical field devices. Student is able to design sizing of actuators and regulating units. Student is able to apply CAD in the instrumentation design. Student is familiar with instrumentation projects. |
Content | Basics of measurement technology. Sensors and transmitters. Industrial basic and analytical measurements. Implementation, calibration and tuning of field devices. Instrumentation design and documentation. Sizing of actuators. CAD in the instrumentation design. Instrumentation projects. |
