Description


TS00DB73 Construction Production Technique and Method Skills (5 cr)
Prerequisites No prerequisites.
Objectives The student is familiar with the main work methods in building. The student is able to do site work plans taking into account the level of efficiency, economy, quality and safety. Student is able to plan the use of the site machinery and equipment. The student is able to write task plan. The student is able to plan tasks site logistics as a part of entire construction site logistics management. Students are able to apply their expertise in both new construction and renovation.
Content Content of construction phases, production methods and safety at work. Begin of the construction site, site area plan. Soil construction. Demolition work, demolition work plan. The foundation works. The concrete frame work. The precast concrete work, installation plan of the precast unit. Steel structural works. Roofing works. Brick laying. ME installation works, coordination. Indoor wood and metal work. The surface texture of the work.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Accomplishment methods The attainment consists of lectures, group tasks and individual project tasks.
