TF00BO27 Quarrying Technique and Soil Construction Materials (5 cr)
Prerequisites Basics of foundation engineering.
Objectives Student knows the principles of rock blasting technigues and the standard explosive agends. He can plan the strip mining works and knows how they are carried out. He knows the environmental questions and laws, which are regulating explosive works. Student knows the basic principles of the rock crushing. Student knows the aggregates used in infra construction and industrial by-products.
Content Laws and safety regulations, explosives, strip mining, tunnel mining, mining in water, mining and environment. Rock crushing, aggregates, industrial by-products.
