| Prerequisites | Statics, Strength of materials, Basics of Structural Design or corresponding knowledge of above-mentioned courses. |
| Objectives | The student is able to design simple steel structures and joints in ultimate and serviceability limit states. |
| Content | Steel as building material. Design of structural members according to Eurocode. Design of ordinary beams and columns as well as joints. |
