TF00DE70	Basics of Water Resources Engineering (3 cr)
Prerequisites	No prerequisites needed.
Objectives	The student will know the issues related to water conservation, water recycling hydrology, basics of hydraulic, measurements of hydrostatics, and basics hydrodynamics, water and wastewater treatment plants operations and processing.
Content	The basics of road planning and traffic engineering. Vertical and horizontal highway geometric planning. Water cycle, water resources, basic values and their measurements in hydrology. Hydraulic planning of channels and pipes as well as water purification and waste water treatment
