Prerequisites	Basics of Structural Design
Objectives	The student can create a structural model. He can estimate the effect of dimensions and material properties on the load bearing capacity and the deformations of the structure. He can carry out the design process for the most elementary structures. The student is able to describe structures and joints of multi-storey apartment building.
Content	Structural behavior and service life of the typical structures made of basic construction materials. Beams made of concrete, wood steel. Basic of masonry structures. Typical structures and joints of multi-storey apartment building.
