TF00DL33	Geotechnics and Foundation Engineering (3 cr)
Prerequisites	Environmental Planning Basic Competence, Infra Structures, Building Planning Basic Competence.
Objectives	Student is able to give soil names. He/She knows the basic geotechnical properties of soils. Student knows the most common site investigation methods. Student knows the principles and methods of quality control in compaction work. Student can decode granulation graph, drilling diagram and ground survey documents. Student know typical ways of groundwork and situation of foundation. Student know basic principle of foundation drainage.
Content	Gradiation curve, soil names, laboratory methods, Basic geotechnical properties of soils, earth construction properties, site investigations, ground survey documents and quality control of compaction work. Typical ways of groundwork and situation of foundation. Ground frost and composer of ground gravid.
