Objectives | The student can describe magnetic examinations and guided procedures in accordance with the principles and is able to explain his / her activities in a multidisciplinary working group. The student can change his/her actions according to patient’s specific needs in an magnetic imaging situation promoting patient safety. The student is able to explain the factors that influence image quality in magnetic examinations. The student is able to use contrast media safely and is able to treat their reactions based on evidence. The student is able to explain the factors that influence image quality in magnetic examinations. |
Content | Magnetic examinations and procedures. Patient/client guidance and care at the MRI unit. Observing and monitoring patient client well-being. Safe use of contrast media. Ergonomics and aseptic. Safe working methods as part of magnetic resonance imaging. Quality assurance. |
