Objectives The student is able to demonstrate fundamental knowledge and insight into general and clinical pharmacology. Knowledge and understanding should be demonstrated in the areas of: effects of drugs, mechanisms of action and side effects in the body. The student knows the most common drugs.
Content Pharmaceutical forms, methods of administration, main drug databases, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, interactions, side effects, analgesics, anesthetics, antimicrobials, respiratory drugs, antiallergicdrugs, cardiovascular drugs, antidiabetic drugs, and basic knowledge of toxicology.
