| Objectives | After completing the course, you will master the fundamental techniques of music writing. You are able to refine your musical ideas into ready-made compositions alone and/or in a group. If necessary, you can write in a style characteristic of a particular era. You are able to outline, and complete compositions and arrangements with the help of various desktop and mobile applications. You know how to finalize your output and make it into an easy-to-listen and shareable file format. You understand the process of publishing music and are able to publish a small-scale project with respect for copyright. |
| Content | In lecture-based classes, students learn music writing practices by utilising, for example, music notation programs on a computer and smart devices with the aim of producing notation that is as clear and readable as possible, either individually or in a group. You will get to know the different compositional and note-writing styles and practice producing a similar musical language and sheet music image in your own tunes. |
