LM00DQ03	Practical Training on a Farm (12 cr)

Objectives	Student works in practical work assignments in accordance with his or her approved personal study plan. He/she gets to know farm enterprises and their operating environments and learns to integrate what he/she has learned into working life. Student makes observations during the growing season about the soil, the growing condition of the field, the crop and the yield. He/she identifies the main crops and weeds as well as plant diseases and pests and their modes of transmission. Student observes the growth rates of plants. He/she considers how the principles of sustainable farming are implemented on the farm.
