Objectives Student gets acquainted with the actors and activities of the food chain. Student understands the basic concepts of animal husbandry and crop production, production methods and the special features of regional production. He/she ponders the importance of northern food production from the perspective of food security.

Methods of cultivation, harvesting and storage of the most common food and feed crops
