Objectives Students knows the criteria of healthy and comfortable indoor climate. S/he is able to define the target values for indoor climate. The student understands operation of ventilation system and can design and dimension ventilation system in residences.
Content Target values for indoor climate. Regulations and guidelines for indoor climate. Design of air flow rates in residences. Selection and dimensioning of terminal devices, ducts and ventilation units.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.

You dimension the outdoor air and exhaust air flows of the residential building to the selected object. You select and measure the parts and equipment of the ventilation system of the small house for the selected object. You prepared the ventilation plan for the single-family house.

excellent (5)
You prepared the ventilation plan for the single-family house. The quality level of the plan corresponds to the level of requirements according to the building permit.
