Objectives Students will be able to explain the central concepts and principles of procedural law. Students will be able to use field-specific terms logically and professionally. Students can explain the proceedings in a typical non-contentious jurisdiction matter and write an application in a simple matter. Students can explain the progression in a criminal procedure from preliminary investigation to consideration of charges and from the institution of proceedings to the hearing in district court.
Content The main concepts and principles of procedural law, non-contentious jurisdiction, preliminary investigation, coercive meastures, consideration of charges, appeal, legal aid.
