Prerequisites | Student should know the basics of market study. Student should be familiar with the culture of the case company's homecountry or target country. |
Objectives | Student understands the business of a certain company in a practice. Student can collect relevant information about new markets in a certain industry and country. Student is able to apply information in order to help a company to develop its business and products/services as a part of internationalization plans. Student can work as a part of international virtual team and use modern tools to do the project work. A team can present the results of their as well in a written report as by an oral presentation. |
Content | Analyzing business environment and competition in an industry, business development, internationalization and project work. |
Recommended optional programme components | If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan. |
Accomplishment methods | Student will conduct market research for a real case company in a foreign market area. Each student is allocated to a team and each team is given a company case task/project to complete. |
Execution methods | The project consists of an introductory session, online material and group coaching. |
