Objectives | The student is able to recognize different possibilities to manufacture plastic products and what needs to be taken into account in designing plastic products. I communicate professionally in English using field-specific vocabulary in various work-related assignments. Level: CEFR B2.1 |
Content | Properties and use of plastic materials. Fabrication processes of plastic products. Machining and joining of plastic materials. Design rules of injection molded products and tools. Project work Describing a technical process in English Presentation of a plastic product process orally in English Writing a technical report on a plastic product process The scope of English studies is 2 ECTS. |

The student can design a complex plastic part and assembly so that the designed part and assembly can be manufactured. The student is able to design a simple injection molding tool.
