Description
TK00BP64 | Mechanical Engineering (10 cr) |
Prerequisites | TK00BP43 Mathematics-Physics-Statics TK00BP49 Engineering Mechanics |
Objectives | The student is able to assess the stresses of machine parts and mechanical structures under static and dynamic loads. ?The students are able to take loads into account as part of the design and select dimension machine parts, such as mechanical power transmission components, actuators and shafts.? The student is able to choose control devices for typical machine automation applications, taking into account the stresses caused by acceleration, shocks and vibrations |
Content | Mechanical Engineering 10 ECTS - Static and dynamic loads on machine components - Choice of mechanical power transmission components, actuators and shafts. - Fatigue strength of rotating shafts - Basics of vibration mechanics - Design of machine assemblies |
Recommended optional programme components | If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan. |
