Objectives 1. You are in control and use the regulations, regulations and instructions for periodic inspection of light vehicles
2. You manage and use the inspection review criteria for periodic inspection and vehicle defect assessment.
3. You understand the importance of economy and quality in the periodic inspection process.
4. You are able to use the right working methods taking into account occupational safety.
The course can also be completed without the degree objective of a light vehicle inspector. The content and objectives are the same, but there is no obligation to participate and work experience requirement set by the education supervisory authority. In this case, the student's performance is reported to the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom).

After completing the practical period successfully, the student is able to participate in an internship that still allows progress towards the inspector’s degree
