| Objectives | Demola is a platform to effectively experiment and test new ideas, but also to validate and solve problems. Demola project offers you the possibility to work in a multidisciplinary, talented team in fully facilitated innovation environment consisting of university students, researchers and various companies. You will be working with your team, which consists of 4-6 university students and project partner, in a 2-month -long co-creation process and participate in problem validation, concept development, demo building and end-user validation. Students learn project, teamwork and presentation skills and can contribute professionally in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team in English. Students are able to work together with a project partner, provide added value with the demo created by the team and understand the possibilities for further development. The student can utilize various innovation methods and present the results of his/her work effectively. Additionally, the student learns to manage a product creation process which is a valuable skill for any employee or entrepreneur. |
| Content | Participation in a Demola project, design and implementation of the demo as part of a multidisciplinary team, co-creation of the solution with the project partner, participation in creating innovations, understanding the fundamentals of business and entrepreneurship and presenting the added value created by the demo. The documentation and working language is English. Number of ECTS credits can vary between 5 to 15 ECTS. |

| Further Information | Prerequisite for participation is being selected to a project team in Demola (oulu.demola.net). Demola projects starts four times a year. Demola and course require separate enrollment. Contact the Head of the Degree Program before starting the course. |
