TK00CF10	Studying and Working Skills (10 cr)
Prerequisites	No prerequisites needed.
Objectives	After completed the study module the student has basic skills to be active at University of Applied Sciences and use the learning environment as a support in order to graduate within the target time. The student can develop his/hers proficiency in learning and studying. The student can apply for a job and posts for practical training. He/She is familiar with entrepreneurship and can utilize the learned financial and administrative matters in practical training. The student is familiar with his/her line of business in the Nordic countries and can work in these work environments. He/She has a good knowledge of Swedish in the occupational fieldand is able to follow business development in publications in Swedish language.
Content	STUDYING AND LEARNING IN A WORK ENVIRONMENT 3 CREDITS The student can use the student services at OAMK. He/She knows how teaching is arranged at OAMK. He/She is familiar with the requirements of practical training and can apply for a post for practical training and a job later on. The students can draw up a plan for the studie. He/she also knows the central studying techniques and can apply them. The student knows the basics of team work and can utilize the team as to support the studies. ECONOMICS 4 CREDITS After a completed study module the student is able to apply the basics of economical thoughts in practical engineering. The student has a command of essential vocabulary in business economy and can interpret financial statements of a company. The student can evaluate and explain the appropriateness by making use of the most essential means of investment calculations. The student is acquainted with the basics of entrepreneurship and is able, when one chooses, to found a business company and draw a business plan for the company making use of different supportive network. SWEDISH 3 CREDITS The aim is for the student to be able to work in Swedish speaking environments and in Nordic countries.
