Objectives | The student - masters patient’s comprehensive and holistic health assessment, identification of the need for care (diagnosis), clinical care of the patient and health promotion interventions. - demonstrates advanced skills and knowledge of the comprehensive holistic clinical examination of health (including physical, mental, ethnic, cultural dimensions of health) using evidence-based frameworks, tools and techniques based on patient needs and relevance to client health. - applies advanced level knowledge when creating systematic palliative or end-of-life care plan based on the patient’s and his/her next of kin’s individual needs and situation. - critically evaluates and utilizes interventions developed for enhancing patient and medication safety and explains the significance of risk management in palliative and in end of life care |
