| Objectives | 1. Basics in project work 2cr Student knows the main principles of project work and apply them for developing the field 2. Project work in professional field 2cr The student chooses, plans, executes and reports purposefully a project that develops his/her professional competencies. He/she searches evidence based information for the basis for his/her intervention. The student works in a client- and goal orientated way. The student reflects his/her own performance and learning. |
| Content | 1. Basics in project work 2cr Project structure and design. Project management and organization. Project partitioning and phasing. Project planning tools and methods. Project schedule, resourcing, budget, tasks, division of labor and risk analysis. Project communication and documentation. Development methods. 2. Project work in professional field, 2cr Working as an expert of one's own field in a specfic mono- or multiprofessional project. |
| Recommended optional programme components | If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan. |
| Accomplishment methods | 1. Passed data test (min 80% correct). Written project plan as agreed with the teacher. The plan can be connected either for section 2 or for the thesis plan. 2 Working with a project in his/her professional field. More detailed instructions in Moodle. |
| Execution methods | 1. Online and face-to-face teaching, using the common study material Fundamentals of Project Work (OS00DY56). 2. Planning, executing and reporting a project. |
