TG00CV05 Design of Hybrid System (15 cr)
Prerequisites Not applicable
Objectives The student knows the different methods of energy production and the principles of combining small-scale heat and energy production methods.
The student can choose the sizes and types of different components of hybrid energy production both heat and electricity.
The student knows the district heating and electricity system in the area and can design the substations of heating and electricity.

Student understands his/her role in communication. He/She understands the meaning of communication and is able to use communication skills as a specialist and a manager. Student is able to present technical products and processes. Student is able to search for information and use source material in appropriate way and is able to report his/her thesis.
Content Optimally scaling and combining different energy production systems. Energy storage. Different control and automation systems as part of the energy system.


Oral and written communication in the field of engineering. Production process. Technical vocabulary. Managerial communication in organisation. Text genre and linguistic style of thesis. Source criticism and principle of references.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
