ON00DV71	Bachelor's Thesis: Dissertation (5 cr)
Prerequisites	Level I and Level II studies are passed without deficits.
Objectives	The student can: • implement thesis plan and agreement based on the best available resources; • collect and analyse research data or carry out the operational phase of the thesis (e.g. intervention, product, event, method); • utilise the basic knowledge and apply research or development methods meaningfully and appropriately; • work in an ethical, responsible, and safe manner and in accordance with the cooperation agreements concluded; • use appropriate tools, methods, and work collaboration; • solve the problems during the process constructively; and • work in a goal-oriented, systematic, and customer-oriented manner in cooperation with working life.

Recommended optional programme components	If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Accomplishment methods	Written output and oral presentations
Execution methods	Thesis supervision is primarily provided in workshops. Details of which can be found in Oiva's implementation plan. Group guidance primarily in seminars. Student conferences are held twice a year.

A student is assessed according to the Assessment Framework of the Oulu University of Applied Sciences (Oamk). Areas of assessment include 1. professional knowledge base and information seeking; 2. professional skill, activity, and target of activity; 3. group work skills and leadership; and 4. responsibility.
