Objectives | The student is able to: • develop critical thinking skills for analyzing situations requiring professional decisions during ethical dilemmas; • identify personal and professional values that affect patient care; • describe ethical issues relevant to the nursing profession; • recognize the significance of multiculturalism in multidisciplinary teamwork; and • recognize the diverse cultural needs of patients and provide appropriate nursing care. |
