Hands-on ocular anatomy-related, common clinical ocular anterior segment procedures and neuro-optometry assessments will be taught and practiced in workshops.
Instructors will discuss clinical assessments required in the decision-making process for prescribing treatments to manage ocular diseases and associated systemic diseases.
A multidisciplinary approach to manage patients who require treatment for their chronic and/or acute conditions, and the need for appropriate referrals (i.e., laboratory investigations, ophthalmologist, and physicians, etc.) will also be discussed.
