Content This course will cover key aspects of the anterior segment disease, posterior segment disease and glaucoma at the advanced level for formulating a differential diagnosis, and making evidence-based management plans using appropriate therapeutic medications.
Clinical vision; ocular imaging; advanced ocular anterior- and posterior segment assessment and procedure techniques will be taught and practiced in workshops.
Instructors will discuss clinical assessments required in the decision-making process for prescribing treatments to manage ocular diseases and associated systemic diseases.
A multidisciplinary approach to manage patients who require treatment for their chronic and/or acute conditions, and the need for appropriate referrals (i.e., laboratory investigations, ophthalmologist, and physicians, etc.) will also be discussed.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
