Objectives | The student is able to identify and list common quantities and units used in mechanics. The student can solve simple physical equations. The student is able to evaluate heat in phase changes and heat transfer through simple structure of a wall. The student is able to utilize the principles of flow mechanics. The students can see the importance of these before mentioned physical laws and phenomena in their own area of technology. |
Content | SI unit system. Kinematics. Dynamics. Energy and power. Principal states of matter and thermal expansion. Thermal energy and transmission of heat. Principles of thermodynamics. Pressure and flow of fluids and gases. |
