KB00BY06 Perspectives in Services Marketing (3 cr)

Objectives Students are able to introduce special features of service marketing and can compare and analyse different service sectors. Students understand the components of service system and competitive tools of service marketing, as well as can apply them in practice. They understand the significance of internal marketing in providing services. Students can evaluate the opportunities and implementation of digital services.
Student understands why service productisation and development is important and understands the basics of service design. Student knows the essential concepts, phases and methods of service productisation and development and apply them in practice.
Content Special features of service marketing, service sectors (private and public services, non-profit organisations), service system, internal marketing, competitive tools of service marketing and digital services.
Productisation, priciples of service thinking and service design methods.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
